am fairly new to SNMP, and I purchased your MIB
Browser at the recommendation of other engineers
in my company that implement SNMP in our
products. I have found the MIB Browser VERY
intuitive and easy to use, and it has greatly
aided my understanding of SNMP as a whole. I
have mainly used it as a self-training tool to
learn about SNMP in general, but also how our
own products use SNMP.
You guys are geniuses! I deleted the
registry key for the MIB Compiler, and tried it
again. This time it worked great. It now stores
my settings when I shut the program down. Don't
know why it didn't work before, unless there was
something "left over" in the registry from when
I ran the evaluation copy of the MIB Compiler
(before I purchased the product).
Thanks again for your help. I have to say
that I am highly impressed with the level and
quality of support I am receiving from MG-SOFT.
It is unfortunate that you don't see much of
those qualities any more... but you guys are the

well. The trap processing really is improved! My
CPU used to go to 100% just receiving 10 traps
per second. Now it handles hundreds of traps per
second without any problem.
