The following screen shots show various windows and functions in MG-SOFT SNMP MIB Query Manager:
Configuring parameters for accessing remote SNMP agents
With Configuration Assistant the user can specify SNMP access parameters
for one or more remote SNMP agents for polling. SNMP MIB Query Manager
supports SNMPv1, SNMPv2c and SNMPv3 protocols.
Configuring polling units
With Configuration Assistant the user can specify groups of polling
units with one or more OIDs, by simply dragging OIDs from the MIB
Tree view and dropping them to the list control of the Polling unit
properties window. OIDs can be scalar OIDs, whole or parts of MIB
sub-trees or MIB tables (with all instances or only specified instances).
Table index discovery function is also included.
Configuring polling groups
Polling units are oranized in polling groups which could be shared between
agents. To associate a polling group to an agent the user has to drag the
polling group and drop it to an agent.
For numerical OIDs Query Manager can generate Web Report HTML file(s)
with graphical presentation of OIDs history. To enable the Web Report,
the user has to set parameters in the Web Report Configuration window (sample report).
Controlling polling engine
Configuration Assistant can control the
operation of the Polling Engine module (start, stop,
restart, database setup, ...).
Configuration Assistant offers RMON templates for configuration
of RMON collections on remote agents.
