MG-SOFT SNMP Software Development Lab contains WinSNMP,
WinMIB and SNMP EasyAgent Software
Development Toolkits. Besides, it contains MIB Compiler and
several other utilities and source code samples.
The WinSNMP module implements the industry standard WinSNMP API specification. The WinSNMP API provides to network management applications an SNMP protocol API including database functions, communication functions, PDU functions, varbindlist functions, entity/context functions and utility functions. Within that, API supports both sending and receiving SNMP traps. The WinMIB module provides an API for accessing compiled MIB files from network management applications. It is tightly integrated with MG-SOFT MIB Compiler. The SNMP EasyAgent framework provides an API for developing SNMP sub-agents (extensions) of the Microsoft's SNMP master agent in an easy way.
SNMP Software Development Lab license is available in three versions. One license supports SNMPv1 and SNMPv2c protocols, another license supports SNMPv1, SNMPv2c and SNMPv3 protocols. The third license supports SNMPv1, SNMPv2c and SNMPv3 protocols as well as MG-SOFT's Master Agent. Each package contains a license for one developer and 20 redistributable run-time licenses. Additional redistributable run-time licenses can be obtained. |
