Overview
Orion Config Manager Training is
recommended for those seeking to leverage Orion more broadly and better
analyse the information collected and presented by the Config Manager.
This course enables students to utilise the features and functionality
of Orion Config Manager to maximise control and visibility of the
configurations of network devices.
Objectives
After completing this course, the
student should be able to:
- Effectively plan and
install Orion Configuration Manager
- Populate managed devices
- Centrally manage network devices,
including the automated backup and review/manipulation of managed
device configurations
- Administer Orion Config Manager
features and user access permissions
- Configure and leverage the
integration between Orion and SolarWinds Engineers Toolset
Pre-requisites
To fully benefit from this course,
attendees should have the following prerequisite skills and knowledge:
- Basic router and switch
configuration administration experience
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP
networks and manageable network devices
- Understanding of basic database
concepts and graphical user interface tools
