Easy Trend Watch shows bandwidth utilization in your network by getting data every 5 min from selected node-interfaces via SNMP (MIB-II). All data is expressed in percent of available bandwidth. Threshold values could be setup for 5 min Peaks, 1 hour Peaks and Discarded packets. If a threshold is crossed an SNMP Trap will be fired. Data aggregates continously and is summarized to average/hour and average/day. To keep statistics clean from backup jobs etc, you setup a time intervall (ex. 7-18), and only within this intervall average/day is summarized.
With version 2.0 it´s now possible to measure any SNMP Object. |
